Fisk University's Women lost 59-62 against Mobile University while the Men won 82-70 against Midway College at Homecoming 2024. The Women's 2024 Gymnastics team members were honored for their accomplishments during the Spring, including the first HBCU athlete to win an individual all-around National Championship, Morgan Price. Former women's basketball two-time NAIA All-American and two-time Gulf Coast Athletics Conference Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year Maya Buckhanon received her 2023-2024 Rice FAME Group HBCU Makeda Excellence Award and basketball shoes from Rice FAME Partner Moolah Kicks.
